Superintendent William Huyett came to Berkeley in February 2008 after spending nearly eight years as the Superintendent at Lodi Unified. Previous to Lodi, he was Superintendent at Dixon Unified from 1996 to 2000; assistant superintendent for secondary education in Elk Grove Unified and principal of Florin and Elk Grove high schools. He started his career as a math and physics teacher in Elk Grove.
Family: Wife, Anne, a Lodi Unified teacher until her retirement in 2008; two grown children, and four grandchildren. The Huyetts own a home in Berkeley.
