A report was made to both the City Council (Tues March 6) and School Board (Wed March 7) on the progress of the 2020 Vision, a collaborative effort of Berkeley Unified, the City of Berkeley, UC Berkeley, and community groups and agencies, convened by the Berkeley Alliance. 2020 Vision is a citywide movement to ensure academic success and well-being for all children and youth growing up in Berkeley, by closing the achievement and health gaps in Berkeley’s public schools by the year 2020.
