A student-centered drama program at Willard, advised by George Rose has shown once again that they can do anything. Not only a well written, directed and performed “dramedy”; “Falling Out” is an important message about the impact on a middle school student of “coming out”, or in this case “falling out” when it happens unintentionally, and the difference a Welcoming School can make.
Berkeley public schools were the first in the nation to adopt the Welcoming Schools curriculum, and these students could have written it.
