Every two years students in grades 5, 7, 9, and 11 confidentially answer questions about health, safety and alcohol, tobacco, and drug use on the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS). Information in the survey is used to educate students and families and to facilitate prevention and early intervention. A summary of the 2012 results and data from the responses of Berkeley public school students is here.
