The Classified Employee Recognition on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 honored 75 employees for their 5 to 30 years of valued service to Berkeley’s students. Hosted by the Personnel Commission with the organizational help of the Human Resources department, and MCed by Interim Co-Superintendents Javetta Cleveland and Neil Smith, the event was a great opportunity to recognize our employees’ dedication to their work. Many of the honorees co-workers and supervisors were on hand to share in the celebration, including the great barbecue held at the King Dining Commons. The Human Resources staff worked to make the event a special recognition, as they offered gifts and certificates, while hugging honorees and sharing in their excitement.
