The Annual Training for School Site Leaders – held on October 24th – was a smashing success with over 150 people in attendance! Click on the links below to get a sampling of what was presented. Not only was it a great opportunity for parents and teachers to socialize and exchange ideas, but school leaders came away with information to help them in their upcoming work on site plans and budgets. Topics included overviews of Common Core and the new Local Control Funding Formula as well as detailed looks into programs and personnel funded by many school governance councils – Welcoming Schools, Literacy Coaches, PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports).
