Please join Superintendent Evans, district leaders, and members of the Parent Advisory and District English Learner Advisory Committees for a Town Hall on Thursday, February 19th at Longfellow Middle School (1500 Derby Street) at 7:00pm. This is a chance for those in the larger school community to receive an update on the first six months of implementation of Berkeley’s LCAP, and to ask questions and offer thoughts for moving forward. Note: The role of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is to consult, review, and comment on the district’s Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP). The District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) advises the school board on programs and services to English Learners (EL), and its members play an important role in providing feedback on the EL services funded through the LCAP. Members of both parent groups represent each K-12 school.
