We invite all parents/guardians/caretakers of African American children to be an active participant in African American History Month and honor National African American Parent Involvement Day by coming to your child’s classroom during the week of February 23.
In collaboration with the Regional Parent Network of the African American Regional Educational Alliances (AAREA) we encourage you to visit your child’s class at least once during the week of February 23rd.
While you are welcome on campus anytime, you might check in with your child’s teacher about a good time to come.
