Berkeley teachers, principals, and staff have been taking advantage of all kinds of summer learning opportunities available to them; some have traveled far and wide to broaden their horizons and expand teaching tools, while others are taking advantage of learning that is available right here at home.

This workshop is focused on deepening Common Core curriculum by approaching our application standards through maker technology. Teachers will be introduced to simple yet effective activities to engage learners through design thinking, maker materials, and technology. Activities for 6th grade are specifically designed to promote the Common Core math and science standards.
