For an uplifting look at the creativity being nurtured in our schools, head over to the Berkeley Art Center to see the current exhibition of art works by our elementary and middle school students.
Works in the juried show, “Forever Young! / BUSD Youth Exhibition,” were selected by district art teachers. It’s timed to coincide with Art IS Education Month in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Berkeley Art Center.
The exhibit ends April 9. The Art Center’s visiting hours are Wed.-Sun., 11 am – to 5 pm. Admission is free. The Art Center is located at 1275 Walnut St., in the section of Live Oak Park that lies on the east side of Oxford.
