Congratulations to BTA senior Noraj “Rico” Penny, whose 2020 Vision logo design was honored at a special event at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre on March 7.
Rico created the design as a hat logo for the 2020 Vision and the recent College and Career Summit in BUSD schools, and it was featured prominently on a flyer for the College and Career Summit. He undertook the project as part of Project HOPE, a mentoring program for young men of color at BTA provided in collaboration with the New Bridge Foundation’s ASPIRE program and Alameda County BHCS. Other Project HOPE participants created t-shirt and folder logo designs under a logo design commission from the 2020 Vision committee.
