A number of our teachers received a welcome after-school break from the demands of their jobs on Tuesday, May 16, with a festive program, gift bags and dinner at the King Middle School dining commons.
The occasion was the annual celebration for participating teachers and their mentors in Berkeley Unified School District’s Teacher Induction Program. The participating teachers typically are in the first or second year with the District.
Superintendent Evans addressed the gathering and expressed his appreciation for their hard work and contributions as members of the BUSD family.
