The exhibition includes nearly 60 students – largely from Berkeley High, with some also from Oakland Technical High and Antioch High.
During the regular school year, Biotech Academies offer a series of courses that create a pathway for technical positions in bioscience, career advancement and continued education. They are sponsored by the non-profit Biotech Partners, a partnership of local companies and agencies established in 1993 by Bayer HealthCare and the City of Berkeley.
The Biotech Academy at Berkeley High is one of the school’s Career Technical Education pathways that integrate academic curriculum with experiential learning and job skills needed for the modern workplace.
