BUSD is proud to announce that Berkeley High School was ranked #2 among California public high schools for outperforming expectations in admissions to the state’s most competitive University of California campuses.
A recent analysis by the San Francisco Chronicle revealed that BHS seniors earned 42 more admission offers per 100 students than predicted by statistical models. While the models predicted 33 admissions per 100 students based on demographics, Berkeley High students achieved an impressive 75 actual admissions. This ranking highlights the success of our students in gaining entry to selective institutions like UC Berkeley, UCLA, and others.
