The Berkeley Unified School District Board of Education invites interested community members to apply for appointment to a vacant seat on the Board of Education. The Board is seeking applicants who are committed to serving students, families, staff, and the Berkeley community. This process is intended to make a provisional appointment to fill a Board vacancy for a seat whose current term expires in 2028. The individual appointed is expected to serve until the November 2028 Governing Board election.
