Berkeley High School
Berkeley High School (BHS) is a comprehensive four-year school serving approximately 3000 students. BHS is unique in that it is the only comprehensive public high school in a community of over 100,000. Drawing from a diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic population, students embrace a broad spectrum of people and ideas. Enrollment Dates for 2024-2025 School Year:
- Round 1: November 27th – December 15th, 2023
- Round 2: March 25th – April 19th, 2024
- Round 3: April 22nd – June 14th, 2024
- Ongoing: June 15th, 2024 and beyond

Enrollment Checklist for BUSD Employees who are Non-Berkeley Residents
Step 2: Gather required documents on the Enrollment Checklist
The Enrollment Form requires you to submit the documents listed on the Enrollment Checklist. Please have these ready to upload when you begin filling out the form.
Step 3: Complete Enrollment Form and Declaration of Residency
You and your student must be residing in Berkeley when submitting enrollment documents.
Enrollment is for new students entering BUSD only. Students currently enrolled at King, Longfellow or Willard do not need to complete the Admissions enrollment process.
Complete online form for 2024-25: English or Español
You will receive an email confirmation within 10-12 business days once the form has been reviewed by admissions.
Berkeley Technology Academy
Berkeley Technology Academy (BTA) is a continuation high school diploma program designed to meet the needs of students sixteen through eighteen years of age who have not graduated from high school, are not exempt from compulsory school attendance, and are deemed at risk of not completing their education. Our ambition is to contest traditional notions of a high school graduate by providing an uncompromising, rigorous education for all our students and to reverse underachievement in students performing below their potential. To do this we must strengthen family, school, business, and community relationships in order to improve student achievement.
