Mayor’s Student Awards Celebrates 20th Year
The Mayor’s Student Awards 2016 honored a record number of students (210) and celebrated its 20th Year. Mayor Tom Bates recognized community icon Salvador Murillo who conceived the idea, and former mayor Shirley Dean who worked with Salvador to make his vision a reality.
