In preparation for the Cesar Chavez Commemorative Period that begins March 20, students in grades 2-12 are encouraged to participate in the Cesar Chavez Essay Contest between now and March 19th when submissions are due. The Governor’s preliminary January budget significantly reduces the amount of money for public school districts in California.
