Project Scope:
The building exterior rehabilitation project includes replacement of the stucco and windows throughout the entire Main Building, partial replacement of the flooring and interior paint at the Main Building, new interior paint at the Auditorium, and new exterior paint at the Annex.
Project Update:
Construction of Phase 1 has progressed well and is on schedule to be completed over the Winter Break.
December, 2016: It is time to mobilize for the start of Phase 2. Beginning December 2 a temporary fence will be installed on the north side of the Main Building similar to the plan below. Scaffolding will then be erected along the north face of the building in preparation for the demolition work scheduled to start December 19. Trucks will be coming in and out through the King St. gates to deliver fence, scaffolding, and construction materials throughout Phase 2. Classes in the portables will be packing up to move back over the winter break, and Rooms 1, 3, 107, 206, 207, 208 will be moving out to the portables. The office will move to Room 104. The Library will be re-opening in January!
