Parents Ready for School is a dynamic, hands-on parent leadership program that increases the skills, knowledge and confidence of preschool parents to successfully navigate the school system on behalf of their children.
Audience: Parents/Guardians with children entering BUSD in the fall of 2012.
Parents who complete the (PR4S) training will:
- Increase their ability to find and use information
- Gain new understandings and perspectives about the educational system
- Gain knowledge of parents’ rights
- Increase their commitment to take action
- Develop confidence as a leaders
- Build lasting bonds with other parents
