In a special Black History month event Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson honored “Future History Makers in 2012.” The honorees are up and coming leaders in the African American community who have made significant contributions in the fields of education, community outreach and business. Longfellow Principal Pat Saddler (Berkeley) and McClymonds Principal Keith Taylor (Oakland) were the two educators honored.
