Unless otherwise noted, Open Session begins at 7pm. The Board will meet in Closed Session beforehand to discuss confidential matters as permitted by the Brown Act, including but not limited to student and/or employee discipline, or to consult with the District’s legal counsel as appropriate. State law strictly regulates what matters can be addressed in Closed Session. Almost all of the Board’s business is conducted in open session.

Occasionally, the School Board passes a resolution to affirm a shared position or recognize a significant honor or statement. The most recent board resolutions are available here.
