District Safety Committee (DSC)

The Superintendent’s Safety Committee plays a key role in supporting the district to achieve its mission by providing an open forum for discussing issues related to safety and security. The Committee receives updates on BUSD programs and initiatives, reviews relevant data and makes annual recommendations to the Superintendent on areas of growth in the district’s ongoing efforts to create a safe and welcoming school environment for all of our students.

Superintendent’s Budget Advisory Committee Meeting Information

The District Safety Committee is an advisory committee to the Superintendent, and is thus not subject to the provisions of the Brown Act. All meetings are held virtually.
