The Board Policy Subcommittee reviews all policies that the District is considering adopting or amending before forwarding to the full Board for consideration. The Policy Subcommittee also reviews Administrative Regulations (sometimes called “AR”s) that provide implementing details for Board policies. The Policy Subcommittee is comprised of two members of the School Board (currently President Alper and Director Vasudeo), and the Superintendent as well as relevant District staff members attend all meetings. All Policy Subcommittee meetings are governed by the Brown Act, and are open public meetings, with an agenda posted in advance on this page. All members of the community are welcome to attend these meetings. More information about the operation of the Policy Subcommittee and its role can be found in Board Bylaw 9310.
