This is our third in a series of four activation exercises for members of the Emergency Operations Center Team.
This will be the most realistic event to date and as preparation you may want to check out the ABAG website for potential damage on the North and South Hayward Fault for a 6.9 to 7.2 Earthquake. Our event will fall within those parameters.
Some of you will receive calls from the planners for situation input you want to see in the scenario. If you haven’t been called and there is an issue you want to see addressed in the exercise you can email it to janrogala@aol.com.
We will be working with a Simulation group on the phones, there will not be formal lunch breaks or regroup sessions. It will be a realistic ongoing exercise.
Be sure you have your team-call-out protocols in place and alternative calls if some one is sick that day.
